| The
agency I work for just completed a PSA for the Boston Cure Project
(read the story from the shoot
on September 23rd). This is a copy of the newsletter they sent
out this month. Look! We're on the cover! I feel famous! They
posted a copy of the PSA on their
site. Or at least I think they did, somehow I saw it today,
yet tonight I can't find the link.... |

Cut
to the
story...Last Saturday night they had their 2nd Annual "Boston
Cure Party for Multiple Sclerosis". I went there to take
pictures...Although I came away with a bunch of photos of happy
smiley guests, I neglected to record who was who when taking
the photographs. I am now waiting to be interogated by someone
from their office as to where the corresponding list with people's
names are. I have been busy thinking up good excuses...The truth
is my husband got all held up at work forcing me to fly solo
and I had this 35 mm camera with me that I didn't even use,
because I didn't want to use the flash with it and realized
once I got there that I would HAVE to use a flash with it so
I only used the digital camera and I had no pen and no paper
and I felt all discombobulated and I was already intruding on
all these nice people's evenings....But I like the sound of
"my cat threw up on it" better. |

Johnathan
Katz was there doing a standup routine! You know, "Dr Katz:
Professional Therapist"?I loved that show. (Although I
never loved the "squigglevision" aspect of the animation)
Just a few weeks ago I was at Hollywood Express (the best video
rental place around) and they had Dr Katz greeting cards. It
just amazed me. Like holy 1995. So I bought one as I figured
it to be some sort of collector's item. Little did I know that
Jonathan Katz lives in Newton! I could have dropped by his place
and got one. |
