THANXGIVING 2002
This picture is just fully embarassing. My brother took one look at it and was like "We look like the lamest rock band ever." That made me laugh, so I felt compelled to post it. More of the Henson family pictures.

Charlie's Kitchen was the only place that we could find open that night. Wouldn't you think every bar would be open Thanxgiving night? After a long day with the family I'm sure everyone could use a strong drink, yet there was nowhere to go. Charlie's has a great jukebox (The Freeze! Minor Threat!) but its WAY too bright, a little too loud and the girls bathroom was being monopolized by these total tools who couldn't get it together to do their drugs in the men's bathroom like normal people. More Charlie's.
We went to the Model last night. Some guy came up to me at the end of the evening (aka "closing time") and said something like "I've been watching you all night and I just wanted to come up and tell you that I thought you were attractive...blah blah blah" and I'm like "Thanks" and he's like "um..so...um..could I like get your number or something?" (This conversation is not verbatum, I had five vodka tonics last night so just think of this as a blurry reconstruction.) I said "No." Then I think he asked me if I would give him a kiss and I said yes if I could take a picture of it, and he said "on the lips?" I said "No." This is the resulting picture. The guy kinda looks like my friend Jef which is weird, also he had a twin. Or at least I hope he had a twin. Otherwise I was seeing double.

For reasons unknown, everyone was being nice to me yesterday. Oh right, it was Thanxgiving, maybe people were just full of good-towards-their-fellow-man feelings.

This was my cab driver he asked me my name and then told me "nor" was Arabic for "light" and that I had filled his evening with a little bit of light...aaawww. Ok, I'm not that naive, I realize this is most likely bullshit. Nor probably means devil white girl or something. But it sounded nice.
